NASA Chronicles: ANC, Wiper & Ford Kenya Exit.
Former partners have also announced their exit from the one mega opposition coalition National Super Alliance (NASA), a few days after Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) withdrawal from the coalition.
Following a parliamentary group meeting called by the Wiper Party, Amani National Congress, and Ford Kenya, the three parties announced that they were no longer a party to NASA.

Tuesday’s announcement renders NASA legally disbanded given that the agreement stipulates that “upon withdrawal of any three parties, the union stands dissolved”
The spokespersons from the three outfits noted that letters authorizing their withdrawal have been dispatched to the registrar of political parties for action.
“Relevant instruments giving effect to the decision have been processed by each party in accordance with their respective party constitutions,” a joint communique read by Nambale MP Sakwa Bunyasi said
With the exit, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula have been given the freedom to seek new alliances ahead of 2022 elections.

“We restate that the Coalition has to be brought to an end in a formal and orderly manner. Let the organic trust deficit that was the modus operandi and bedeviled NASA not encumber the process of dissolution and accountability,” they said
The three leaders signed the dissolution letters after consultation with their respective party members and organs. They all said the decision to fold NASA was arrived at after it became apparent that it would not achieve its ‘intended dream.’
The dream, they said, was to have an all-inclusive movement for real change. The leaders also cited what they termed as ‘trust deficit’ as one of the key reasons that jeopardized the opposition coalition.
“Mindful of this trust deficit, our three parties, transparently informed the Kenyan people of their individual decision to leave the NASA Coalition,” they said in a joint statement.
