The two-week campaign offered discounts of up to 70% while linking customers and vendors to rewards and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Jumia Kenya has concluded another edition of the Jumia Festival, a two-week shopping campaign that brought together customers, vendors and brand partners.

Running from 24 August to 6 September 2026, the campaign featured major discounts, rewards and strategic partnerships. It also reinforced Jumia’s focus on making quality products more accessible to consumers across Kenya.

Up to 70% Discounts Drive Festival Shopping

The Jumia Festival offered discounts of up to 70% across multiple product categories.

Customers also benefited from nationwide delivery, brand partnerships and Jumia’s order fulfilment capabilities. The platform’s reseller network and customer-friendly return policies further supported the campaign.

Meanwhile, flash sales, brand days, bundled offers and treasure hunts gave customers more ways to participate.

The campaign also featured happy-hour offers and exclusive gift promotions. These initiatives helped drive engagement throughout the two-week shopping period.

Jumia and M-KOPA Link Commerce to Opportunity

One of the key highlights was Jumia’s partnership with M-KOPA.

The collaboration connected digital commerce with financial inclusion and entrepreneurship opportunities. Customers and vendors participated in promotions linked to M-KOPA’s mobility solutions.

Participants also had opportunities to win motorbikes and related benefits through the campaign.

The partnership combines Jumia’s market reach with M-KOPA’s asset financing solutions. As a result, the collaboration aims to help individuals and small business owners access tools that can support their livelihoods.

The initiative also reflects Jumia’s wider focus on partnerships that deliver practical value beyond traditional e-commerce.

“At Jumia, we continuously seek partnerships that create meaningful impact for our customers and vendors. Our collaboration with M-KOPA during the Jumia Festival is a great example of how innovation, technology and commerce can come together to unlock opportunities and empower more Kenyans,” said Vinod Goel, Managing Director, Jumia East Africa.

Focus on Customers and Local Businesses

Jumia said the festival forms part of its continued efforts to improve convenience and value for Kenyan consumers.

At the same time, the company continues to support vendors, resellers and small businesses through its e-commerce ecosystem.

As Kenya’s e-commerce market evolves, Jumia is using strategic partnerships to expand customer value. The company also aims to support inclusive growth while creating more opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
