LOOP, the fintech subsidiary of NCBA Group, has launched a new device financing solution in partnership with global insurtech leader Bolttech. The solution makes it easier and more affordable for customers to own quality smartphones.
The offer combines LOOP FLEX—LOOP’s Buy Now, Pay Later product with bolttech’s device protection. Customers can spread payments for up to 12 months.
They also receive built-in protection against theft, accidental damage, liquid damage, and mechanical breakdowns. All repairs happen at authorized service centers using genuine parts, ensuring reliability and safety.
This launch comes as LOOP kicks off the LOOP Shopping Festival, a festive campaign running through February. The festival offers customers up to 20% cashback and exciting deals across multiple brands.

During the shopping festival, LOOP customers can enjoy cashback from select mobile device partners and more than 30 merchants.
These include Shell, Hotpoint, Quickmart, OPPO, Bata, Galitos, ArtCaffé, Lintons, Samsung, Tecno, Vivo, Pizza Inn, and AutoExpress. The offers span fashion, fuel, devices, beauty, groceries, and electronics.
Speaking at the launch, LOOP DFS CEO Eric Muriuki said the new solution responds to customer needs.
“Our device financing solution makes it easier for customers to own premium devices while protecting value. It also advances our goal of offering accessible, digital financial solutions that empower customers to live and work with confidence.”
To enhance the festive mood, LOOP will host mall activations at The Nord Mall in Ruiru, Thika Road Mall (TRM), and Sarit Centre. The events will feature live demos, product trials, giveaways, and vendor showcases. These activities aim to give LOOP customers a fun and interactive shopping experience.
