Vivo Energy Launches Modern Shell Service Station in Nairobi
Vivo Energy Kenya has unveiled a new Shell service station along Dennis Pritt Road in Nairobi as part of its strategy to transform fuel stations into modern retail and convenience hubs.
The new Shell Dennis Pritt Service Station was officially launched by Stan Mittelman alongside Peter Murungi.
Located in Kilimani, the station reflects the company’s broader retail expansion strategy. Moreover, Vivo Energy says the project aims to improve customer convenience and expand non-fuel services.
A Modern Hub for Motorists
Speaking during the launch, Stan Mittelman said service stations are increasingly becoming multi-purpose retail centres.
“By providing quality services tailored to the needs of customers on-site, the multi-purpose forecourt is increasingly becoming a retail hub or a one-stop-shop,” he said.
The station offers:
- Shell fuels and lubricants
- Afrigas LPG services
- An ArtCaffe Market convenience store
- A quick service restaurant
- A modern lubricant and oil change bay
- Car wash services
- A pharmacy and additional amenities
Additionally, the company said the facility is designed to meet the growing demand for integrated retail services and convenience.

Enhancing Customer Experience
Meanwhile, Peter Murungi said the company continues to invest in customer experience as demand for premium services grows.
“At all our more than 340 Shell service stations in Kenya, we aim to make sure that our customers’ experience goes beyond just fuelling,” he said.
He added that customers increasingly expect stations to provide shopping, dining, LPG services, and vehicle care in one location.
Murungi also highlighted the rising demand for:
- Shell FuelSave Unleaded
- Shell FuelSave Diesel
- Shell V-Power Unleaded
Expanding Across Kenya
Furthermore, Vivo Energy says it continues to strengthen its retail footprint across Africa while improving loyalty programmes and customer engagement.
The company currently operates more than 340 Shell service stations across Kenya. In addition, it remains one of the country’s leading oil marketing companies.
Established in 2012, Vivo Energy Kenya supplies automotive fuels, lubricants, LPG, aviation fuel, and commercial fuel products.
Ultimately, the company says the new Shell Dennis Pritt station reflects its long-term vision of redefining the service station experience in Kenya.
