Shocking Cause of Kianjokoma Brothers Deaths…
Autopsy contradicts police accounts in Kianjokoma brothers shocking deaths.
Examination of bodies to determine the cause of death of two brothers who lost their lives under mysterious circumstances in Embu yielded results that are contrary to earlier statements from the police.
Following the postmortem conducted on Thursday, both the family and government pathologists disclosed that the two, whose bodies were found at Embu level five hospital mortuary, died from multiple head and limb injuries.
According to the family lawyer Muchangi Gichugu, the autopsy results are consistent with what the police said as regards Benson Njiru, that he had ‘jumped out of a moving police motor vehicle’ while under arrest.
He however says the story is different when it comes to his brother Emanuel Mutura who he claims was hit with a blunt object.
“For Emmanuel, there were no bruises. Injuries in the head show he was hit with a hard object. So the issue of him jumping from the car is neither here nor there.” He remarked
Muchangi disclosed that the family will now pursue justice after the autopsy results.
Dr. Kamau Wangai, the pathologist at the Embu Level Five referral hospital said, after the conclusion of the postmortem, they were all in agreement with the results.
Felix Nthiga the family spokesperson said the family now will commence burial arrangements after transferring the bodies to a private morgue.
” After the exercise, we now believe the truth will come out and we appeal to the government to expedite investigations and bring all the culprits to book,” said Nthiga.
