By Pastor Arrested For Impregnating 2 Underage Daughters
After a month of search, police have flushed out a pastor from his hideout who was accused of impregnating his two daughters one of who had already given birth and the other who is six months pregnant.
The clergyman suspect was detained at Sagan police Station in Kirinyaga County as investigations into the matter begun.
Moses Ivuto, Kirinyaga West Deputy County Commissioner said that the suspect disappeared in early December 2020 after his relatives reported the matter to the police.
He said “We the government cannot allow anyone to sexually exploit young girls and he will face the full wrath of the law”

The matter came to light when their mother raised an alarm and demanded t know who had defiled her daughters.
The daughters accused their father with more details emerging that the paster had threatened them and other relatives against reporting the matter.
On December 14th, 2020, Woman Representative Purity Ngirici of Kakamega nad Gladys Shollei of Uasin Gishu led demonstrations demanding the arrest of the clergyman.
Earlier in June 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta accused the chiefs of the alarming cases of teen pregnancies and warned that they would be liable for the crimes in their regions.
“How do we allow people to go around impregnating small girls and we don’t speak about it? Tunangojea DNA halafu wewe ndio utachukua mzigo na utalipa.” He said
