William Ruto gives Nairobi family KSh 300 Thousand to bring home the body of their son who died in Russia

Abraham Mwendawa,19, took his last breath on Monday, September 21 while undergoing treatment after a short illness in Russia.

The deputy president William Ruto has come to their aid and provided Ksh300 thousand to help Abraham’s family repatriate his body and give him a decent burial.

Johnson Muthama also gave the family KSh122,000 which he said was enough to bring back Mwendwa’s remains.

The Alliance Boys alumnus traveled to Russia in 2019 after he successfully secured a government scholarship to study engineering in Russia. His family had appealed to the government and the public to help them repatriate his body.
