Sonko Claims Supreme Court Will Endorse BBI In Its Ruling
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has sensationally claimed that the Supreme Court pass the Building Bridges Initiative tomorrow Thursday 31st.
In a post on his social media page that is likely to elicit varying reactions, Sonko said, “Imagine naskia ati BBI kesho inapita,” To mean he heard that the Supreme Court will endorse the BBI.
The Bill championed by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga who will also be the Azimio La Umoja Presidential Candidate was declared unconstitutional by the Court of Appeal last year.

The Court in its ruling argued that the President can’t initiate a constitution amendment through such a process.
Attorney-General Kihara Kariuki appealed the ruling at the Supreme Court, which is set to make its judgment on Thursday.
Deputy President William Ruto has continuously expressed his views toward the bill saying it’s an attempt by a few to share positions in the Country.
President Uhuru and Raila however insist that the bill will unite the Country and ensure all tribes are represented in an inclusive Government.
