By SUICIDE!! Dad Daughter Love Gone Sour.
Alfred Owuor Oyoo, a 55-year-old man from West Asembo, Siaya County allegedly committed suicide on Thursday after his kin failed to settle a Ksh.13,000 hospital bill for his ailing daughter.
The deceased is said to have taken his life after his relative unexpectedly went back on his word to clear the bill at the eleventh hour.
Confirming the incident, West Asembo chief Wycliffe Odiango said a neighbour found the man’s body dangling from a tree moment after the deceased got word that his relative would not foot the bill.

Odiango similarly revealed that Oyoo had been living alone after separating from his wife who currently stays with his daughter. Oyoo’s daughter suddenly fell ill and was admitted to Bondo Sub- County Hospital hence the Ksh. 13,000 hospital bill.
The deceased’s body has since been moved to Madiany Sub-County Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem as investigations into the matter continue.
