The target is USD 45 million per year for the next six years to work in priority countries across six global regions where agricultural and food systems are under threat.

Timothy J. Krupnik, Interim Director, and Inga Jacobs-Mata, Interim Deputy Director of the Scaling for Impact Programme highlighted the need for transformative and unconventional partnerships, adaptive management, and enabling environments.

Scaling Week 2024 emphasized South–South collaboration, resilience, and ingenuity in tackling agrifood challenges.

Participants embraced a spirit of exploration and co-creation, paving the way for transformative changes in global food systems.

In addition, getting science innovations out of the labs and into the hands of millions of smallholder farmers across the global South is crucial in development work.
