Ruto Needs To Urgently Restore Calm In The Country; IDEA for Africa
The Institute for Development and Leadership in Africa (IDEA for Africa) is appealing to president William Ruto to urgently reach out to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, Hon. Martha Karua and other leading politicians in the country including retired former president Uhuru Kenyatta to help restore calm and order in the country.
President Ruto should not ignore or take for granted the ongoing protests across the country.
As the head of state, Ruto should stop chest thumping and quickly restore normalcy before it gets out of hand.
According to Denise Kodhe- Director General of the Institute for Development and Leadership in Africa ( IDEA for Africa) the younger generation are protesting because the leadership under President Ruto has failed and taking them for granted.

“With the ongoing protests and insecurity,Kenya as a country is collapsing both economically and politically unless urgent measures are undertaken to salvage” added Denise
The African Union, the International community, religious leaders and true friends of Kenya should not wait for the situation in Kenya to get worse or to deteriorate further to move in.
The time to help is now. Kenya as a country is at the brink of collapsing.
