Murder: Kiambu Girl Kills Brother Over Ksh200

Girl Kills Elder Brother for Denying Her Ksh 200 Meant for Food, Says She Wanted to Plait Her Hair.

Residents of Kibichoi village in Kiambu County are mourning the death of a young man Antony Ng’ang’a after his 15-year-old sister killed him before fleeing.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the duo disagreed on how to spend the Ksh 200 left by their mother to cater for food expenses. Nganga maintained that the money is used as instructed by their mother while the teenager demanded the money to plait her hair.

“The girl demanded to be given the money to make her hair, instead of buying food but her elder brother would hear none of it,” said the investigations agency as quoted by TV47.

Their disagreement culminated in the girl harming her 18-year-old brother using a kitchen tool, leaving him unconscious. The victim was then rushed to Kigumo Level Four hospital by his uncle, John Wangendo, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The DCI investigators have since launched a manhunt for the girl.
