Kitale Businesswoman Wins Land in KCB Campaign

Kitale-based businesswoman Joan Cheruto has emerged as the grand prize winner of the Revvvisha na KCB campaign, walking away with a plot of land worth KSh 3 million in Vipingo. The 30-year-old qualified for the prize after diligently saving through her KCB Goal Savings Account and meeting all campaign requirements.

The five-month nationwide campaign was designed to promote financial empowerment and encourage a stronger savings culture among Kenyans. Cheruto shared her excitement, saying:

“It is such a proud moment for me after being named the winner of the Revvvisha na KCB Campaign. When I was first called, I thought I was being conned until I visited my branch in Kitale. KCB is doing a fantastic job in strengthening the savings culture among Kenyans through such customer-centric campaigns. I encourage them to continue doing so for a better future for us all.”

Additionally, to enhance the value of the campaign, KCB partnered with Centum Real Estate, a leading property developer, to offer a premium lifestyle reward — a plot in the prestigious Kingswood Park Estate in Vipingo.

“Through the Revvvisha na KCB Campaign, we partnered with Centum Real Estate to introduce a compelling incentive, one that goes beyond monetary gain and speaks to long-term value,” said Caroline Wanjeri, KCB Director of Mortgage Business. “Today, one lucky KCB Goal Savings Account holder will walk away with a prime plot of land valued at KShs. 3 million.”

Rewarding a Culture of Saving

The campaign centered around the KCB Goal Savings Account, which offers up to 8.5% interest. It was open to new and existing customers aged 18 and above with valid national ID cards. However, corporate entities, M-Pesa agents, and KCB Bank staff were not eligible to participate.

Besides the grand prize, KCB also awarded other exciting rewards throughout the campaign, including:

  • School fees contributions

  • Dining vouchers

  • Fuel vouchers

  • Easter hampers

Finally, these prizes reinforced KCB’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful, financially empowering experiences for its customers.
