High-End Mobile Phones Dealer Arrested By DCI Sleuths Over Fraud.
A man who has been defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, by posing as a dealer in high-end mobile phones and associated products, has been arrested.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Ochokol Victor Maina poses as a genuine trader dealing in iPhones and other Apple products.

“He then obtains money by false pretenses contrary to section 313 of the penal code,” says the DCI.
Maina has since been arrested on charges of obtaining money by false pretenses and will and will be arraigned in court on Wednesday to answer to his crimes.

The DCI after this incident is advising members of the public not to purchase products from unverified traders who have flooded the online market, taking advantage of them.
The DCI is further urging members of the public to report criminal activities happening around their areas on their anonymous toll-free line 0800 722 203.
