Kamukuywa market in Bungoma county businesspeople and passersby were treated to free drama after strange bees attacked a suspected notorious chicken thief.
On a fateful day, Wafula tiptoed into his neighbour’s chicken house and managed to steal 20 chickens which he hid into a sack and proceeded to sell them on the market day. Little did he know that the owner had secured his chicken house with traditional Japanese medicine from Daktari Nyuki.

The moment he landed at the market centre ready to make a quick kill, strange bees hovered above him and started attacking him to the surprise of his would-be customers and onlookers.
His efforts to seek help in one of the hotels were repulsed by a watchman, so he ended crying like a child until the owner arrived 10 minutes later, that’s when the strange bees left to an unknown destination.
While the owner took back his chicken, Wafula was arrested and arraigned in court and will serve 15 years in jail.
