Stop Shaming Women For Carrying Condoms

We have all heard the stories of unwanted/unexpected pregnancies. We all know how to prevent these! And with such a quick and easy method, why should anyone, whether man or woman, take the chance?

In my humble opinion, everybody should carry a condom on them, regardless of whether they are 100 percent sure it will never see the light of day. It does not make you immoral and it does not mean you are on the prowl. It means that you are a responsible adult.

Why Women Carry Condoms

Men are still adamant that women should not carry condoms even with the alarming cases of HIV/AIDS and other dangers of unprotected sex. For men, a condom in your wallet signifies sexual conquest.

A man with a condom in his pocket deserves praise for getting laid and for playing it safe. You can find condom dispensers in the men’s restroom of nightclubs, but I would be surprised if you found anything but tampons in the women’s restroom.

Women who carry condoms are sexually bold and If a man judges based on the fact that you carry condoms, he is not worth dating.

They are also confident because they own their sexuality and are not ashamed of it not forgetting they know what their ethical and moral structures are.

In a country torn between swelling secularism and thawing conservative and ‘fundamentalist’ Christianity, more and more women are dropping the prudish societal expectations and adopting a more realistic approach towards sexual safety.
