Safaricom Introduces B-LIVE, Redefining Internet Experience
Safaricom has unveiled B-Live, an innovative time-based data bundle designed to change how customers experience the internet. The service allows users to browse for a set period instead of relying only on MB or GB bundles.
With B-Live, customers can enjoy uninterrupted browsing at affordable rates: 1 hour for KES 20, 3 hours for KES 50, and 6 hours for KES 150. This flexibility supports different lifestyles, from students attending online classes, to creators streaming content, and professionals working on the move.
Giving Customers More Choice
This new model complements Safaricom’s traditional MB/GB bundle options. Customers now have the freedom to choose whether to manage usage by volume or simply by time.
“We recognise that our customers are different. Some prefer managing their usage in MBs or GBs, while others simply want to enjoy the internet for a set period of time. By adding this option, we’re putting control back in the hands of our customers,” said Fawzia Ali-Kimanthi, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Safaricom PLC.
B-Live is part of Safaricom’s wider commitment to support Kenya’s digital lifestyle. The company continues to enable youth, creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals to stay connected in ways that work best for them.

How to Access B-LIVE
The B-Live bundles are available via *544# or *555#, offering flexible hourly browsing. Customers can easily choose the plan that fits their needs, whether for study, work, or entertainment.
By introducing this option, Safaricom strengthens its position as a digital enabler, making connectivity more accessible and practical for all.
As internet use in Kenya continues to grow, B-Live provides a timely solution for a generation that values affordability, flexibility, and convenience.
It reflects Safaricom’s commitment not only to innovation but also to ensuring that no one is left behind in the country’s digital transformation journey.
