Raila Compares Ruto To An Animal Stalking The Community Sheep.

Raila warns Maa Community against DP Ruto’s presidential bid.

ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga has warned the Maa Community to be wary of Deputy President William Ruto’s Presidential bid saying he doesn’t have good intentions for the Country.

Speaking during the funeral ceremony of the Mama Dorcas Ntimama wife of late William Ole Ntimama in Narok, Raila called for unity among the Masaai Community ahead of the 2022 general election.

He compared Ruto to an animal stalking the community sheep and urged Governor Samuel Ole Tunai as well as other elected leaders to protect their people from him.

Either Raila says the process of renaming Narok Stadium to William Ole Ntimama Stadium should be expedited.

He said the County must celebrate Mzee Ntimama by naming the stadium after him.

Raila said while the Maa Community has suffered a lot of historical injustices, BBI will address the issues they raised adding that Narok and Kajiado will get 3 additional constituencies.

He said indigenous communities should not be left behind in development matters lauding CS Keriako Tobiko for being at the forefront in the restoration of Mau forest.

Raila had good words for Mama Dorcas saying she would welcome him every time he visited Mzee for counsel.

“I have slept in this homestead, I had a place where i would sleep, Mama Dorcas would welcome us, am grateful for the support she accorded Mzee throughout his political career,” He said.
