“My Plan, Chaguo Langu” Airtel Premier With Unique PostPaid Plans Launched

Airtel Kenya has today launched Airtel Premier which will see its customers enjoy all mobile units under a single plan. Airtel customers can now purchase data, SMS, voice, and data in a single plan.

The plan dubbed “My Plan, Chaguo Langu” has three different choices for each plan. For instance, if a user makes a lot of calls but does not use data often, they can subscribe to a plan that prioritizes call minutes.

Airtel Premier offers three distinct packages: “Bonga Zaidi” for those with a need to make more calls, “Browse Ukibonga” for people who need a good balance of calls talk time and data and Browse Zaidi for heavy data users. Uniquely, Airtel Premier subscribers will enjoy FREE Airtel to Airtel calls even after they have exhausted the allocated ALL-Network minutes.

Rollover of Minutes, Data, and SMS is applicable when customers renew their Airtel Premier subscription with the same plan within ten days of expiry.

Customers can enroll in Airtel Premier “Chaguo Langu” by visiting any Airtel shop countrywide (dial *100# to find a shop near you). After enrollment, customers can subscribe to their desired plan based on their budget and communication needs by dialing *544#.

Ministry of Co-operatives & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( MSMEs) CS Simon Chelugui who graced the occasion noted that Airtel, one of the leading telcos has unveiled the plan that will connect more Kenyans at a time when digital connectivity has recently risen.

He added that its ministry is working with the private and public sectors to bridge producers and consumers to promote financial responsibility and mobile literacy.

“The government has disbursed over Ksh27 billion Hustler Fund as of today and over Ksh17 billion has been repaid. 235 Thousand transactions in second are also being made every day”

This has been possible through Airtel Kenya, along with M-PESA and T-Kash, that hustlers access the fund.
