Police officers implicated in the death of the two Kianjokoma brothers have been arraigned at Milimani Law Court.
The six Corporal Consolota Njeri, Corporal Benson Mbuthia, Constable Lilian Cherono, Constable Martin Wanyama, Constable Nicholas Sang, and Constable James Mwaniki were arrested Monday night and driven to Nairobi.
Embu County Police Commander Kimani Wamitungo said the six officers were on duty when the slain brothers were arrested and their bodies later discovered in a mortuary in Embu.
The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji directed the arrest of the six police officers shortly after IPOA recommended they face murder charges.
