Armed Robbers Steal Ksh 6m From Chinese Constructors After Entering House Through Drainage Tunnel.
Police in Kiambu county have arrested two out of three suspects believed to have robbed two Chinese nationals at gunpoint at the ongoing Karimenu II dam project in the area.
A report filed at Kamwangi police station indicated three armed unknown individuals gained access to the victims’ home through a drainage water tunnel.

High-profile police officers from Kiambu County led by county commander Ali Nuno visited the scene.
According to Nuno the arrested individuals would be charged with robbery with violence once investigations complete.
Sleuths are now grilling the arrested suspects to give wind of the third suspect before they are arraigned in court.
Barely three months ago, police arrested four individuals in connection with the loss of KSh 15 million from a house belonging to a Chinese national.
The foreigner Wang Daoli who filed a police report on Friday, February 12, told detectives that he left his home for China’s new year outside the estate on the previous night. However, when he returned home later in the night at around 10 pm, he discovered a safe containing KSh 50 million missing with all the money. According to Wang, there was no indication to show someone had broken into his bedroom where he had kept them safe, thus suspecting an inside job.
