Qatar Airways will make history this year as the first Presenting Partner of the Ballon d’Or®, football’s most prestigious award ceremony. The 69th edition will take place on 22 September 2025 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said the partnership celebrates legends who inspire generations. He explained that aligning the World’s Best Airline with the world’s best footballers reinforces the company’s mission to excel in every arena.

France Football awards the Ballon d’Or® annually, recognizing the best players in both the Men’s and Women’s game. The magazine will announce the 2025 nominees later this year.
