As of 31st March 2023, the CFAO Group’s operations in Kenya included three entities: CFAO Mobility Kenya (formerly CFAO Motors Kenya), DT Dobie, and LOXEA Kenya.
Strategic Restructuring and Consolidation
To streamline operations and strengthen its market offering, the group completed an internal restructuring effective 1st April 2023. DT Dobie & Company Kenya Ltd transferred its business assets to CFAO Mobility Kenya. This move unified both businesses under one entity: CFAO Mobility Kenya Limited.
The restructuring brought together the rich heritage and expertise of two respected automotive players in Kenya. With the acquisition, CFAO Mobility Kenya expanded its portfolio to cover more globally recognized automotive brands that were previously sold and serviced by DT Dobie.

Expanded Reach and Customer Benefits
Today, CFAO Mobility Kenya is the official distributor of 12 automotive brands and offers more than 21 vehicle models. Its nationwide network includes over 40 service centers, authorized dealers, and company-owned branches.
In line with legal requirements, DT Dobie & Company Kenya Ltd has appointed a liquidator to oversee its wind-down process. This ensures transparency and compliance during the transition.
For customers, the change delivers greater convenience, consistency, and access to a wider range of mobility solutions. CFAO Mobility Kenya remains committed to nationwide support, improved service delivery, and an expanded lineup of vehicles tailored to customer needs.
