Safaricom, LG Bring Smart Living to Life at Rhythm & Brunch Festival
Safaricom, in partnership with LG, brought smart living to the forefront during this year’s Rhythm & Brunch festival at Ngong Racecourse.
Known for its nostalgic R&B vibes and stylish crowd, the festival offered more than just music, it showcased the future of home living.
Smart Homes Meet Live Entertainment
Festival-goers experienced a fully connected smart home demo, featuring LG appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, soundbars, and lighting systems, all controllable from a single smartphone.
From adjusting mood lighting to managing air conditioning or gaming systems, the showcase revealed how seamless daily living can become when powered by fast and reliable technology.
Safaricom’s 5G Wi-Fi router was central to the setup, providing the high-speed connectivity that makes smart living possible.
Originally priced at Ksh 25,000 and later reduced to Ksh 11,000, the router is now available at just Ksh 2,999. It supports up to eight devices simultaneously, making it ideal for connected homes.

Affordable Connectivity for All
To expand access, Safaricom has partnered with Quickmart to stock the routers nationwide, in addition to availability in Safaricom Shops and on Masoko.com.
With immersive tech, strong performances from artists like DJ Nijo, DJ Pinye, Charisma and more, and a focus on future-forward living, the event proved that lifestyle and innovation can thrive side by side.
The partnership between Safaricom and LG reflects a growing shift toward tech-enabled lifestyles in Kenya. As more consumers embrace digital convenience, such collaborations are paving the way for smarter, more connected living experiences across the country.
