836 Coronavirus Positive Cases In The Last 24 Hours

14 People lose their lives over COVID-19

In the last 24 hours, 836 people Have tested positive for COVID-19 out of a sample of 4076. This brings to 50,833 the number of confirmed positive cases in the country.

The cumulative tests are now 666,122. From the cases 822 are Kenyans and 14 are foreigners.

In terms of gender, 618 are males and 218 are females. The youngest is a four-month-old infant while the oldest is 89 years.

On a positive note, 403 have recovered from the disease, 25 from the Home-Based Care program while 153 have been discharged from various hospitals. Total recoveries now stand at 34,832.

Unfortunately, 14 people have succumbed to the diseases bringing the total number of fatalities to 934.

Currently, there are 1150 patients admitted in various hospitals countrywide, while 3961 are on Home Based Isolation and Care.38 patients are in Intensive Care Unit15 of whom are on ventilator support and 16 on supplemental oxygen. 61 are on supplementary oxygen, 36 of whom are in general oxygen and 25 are on the High Dependency Unit.
