Timely Financial Support
NCBA committed KSh 300,000 to support the team’s participation. The funding will cover essential needs such as team kit and key travel logistics.

Athletes Welcome Continued Partnership
Kenya Masters Team Captain Peter Nduati welcomed the sponsorship, calling it a major boost at a critical stage of preparation. He said the support will help the swimmers compete with confidence and proper equipment.
Nduati noted that NCBA has now supported masters swimmers for the second consecutive year. Last season, the bank sponsored Kenyan athletes who competed at the World Aquatics Masters Swimming Championship in Singapore. He described the gesture as key to building trust between athletes and corporate partners.
He also urged the swimming community to support NCBA in return, emphasizing that strong partnerships thrive on mutual commitment. Nduati further thanked Kenya Aquatics for its continued backing of the masters’ category.

Kenya Aquatics Technical Director Omar Omari praised the sponsorship and credited steady growth in masters swimming to committed athletes and stakeholders. He thanked NCBA for stepping in at a crucial moment.
Omari also called on more corporates to support swimming, citing the sport’s strong brand visibility and disciplined athlete base. He confirmed that the team will hold a joint training session on Friday, 30 January 2026, at Crawford International School.
While most swimmers train individually at their clubs, the team plans to meet weekly. The sessions will focus on technique, endurance, and team cohesion.
As the countdown continues, the squad remains focused and motivated. The swimmers see the championship as another chance to represent Kenya with pride, chase personal bests, and compete on a respected international stage.
