By bringing these features into the app, Safaricom is helping customers manage their home connectivity more efficiently.
Simpler roaming for travellers
International travel is also becoming more convenient.
Customers can now activate roaming services and purchase roaming bundles directly through My OneApp before leaving the country. As a result, travellers can stay connected without the hassle of searching for roaming options at the airport or after arriving at their destination.
More flexible payment options
Safaricom has also improved the payment experience by bringing multiple payment methods together.
Customers can now choose to pay using M-PESA, Bonga Points, or ShirikiPay from a single screen. This eliminates unnecessary steps and provides greater flexibility when purchasing Safaricom products and services.
Faster recurring payments
The update also improves Ratiba, Safaricom’s recurring payment feature.
