Woman Found Dead With Throat Slit Outside Her House.
A woman was early Tuesday morning found dead outside her rental house in Belgut sub-county, Kericho County.
The woman, who had rented a house within Chebown trading center, was reportedly found with a deep cut on her throat.
The deceased, a tea and mandazi vendor, is said to have left the main house where she slept heading towards the kitchen to prepare her wares when she was attacked.
The assailant, who is suspected to have been hiding outside her house, ambushed and seemingly sliced her throat.

Eyewitnesses said that the woman had separated from her husband and was in a relationship with another man, which they described as “frosty” due to alleged “constant disagreements.”
They further said the woman screamed once and when they went out to check on her, they were shocked to find her body in a pool of blood.
The assailant is suspected to have hidden in the tea plantations, after committing the crime, before eventually fleeing.
