Gender-based violence cases are alarming
A 27-year-old pregnant woman has been stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Mutituni Market in Machakos county who is currently on the run. According to the neighbors the two lovebirds who worked together in a hotel at Mutituni Market have been experiencing relationship wrangles which developed after she fell pregnant.
Justus Kimanzi a neighbor to the couple has lamented saying that the act is unacceptable especially taking away someone’s life. He added that the young should be counseled about marriages to avoid future vices like this.

Area Chief Johana Munyao has asked the police to hasten their investigations that will come up with a clear reason as to why the man had to kill his wife.
The victim’s body was transferred to Machakos Level 5 hospital with police launching a manhunt for the attacker.
