The residents have delivered foodstuffs at Nyamarambe office and five lorries are set to dispatch to Nairobi where relatives will be contacted on how to pick their goods. This comes in the wake of the government’s directives to help curb the spread of COVID-19. At least 2,000 people will benefit weekly.

Osoro took to his twitter saying the initiative is to help mitigate the COVID-19 damage of hunger in Nairobi for the people he serves. He added that they are working to see the programme operating the whole of Kisii during this unprecedented coronavirus pandemic.
The legislator has urged Musongore people who live in Nairobi to ask their relatives back in the villages to visit Eyago and Nyamarambe offices in South Musongore to have their food delivered.
