Coronavirus cases now stand at 355 and 106 recoveries
A total number of 8 patients have been discharged from the hospitals bringing 106 the total number of recovered cases of Covid-19 in the country.
However, 12 more persons have tested positive bringing the total number to 355. Eight (8) are from Nairobi and four (4) from Mombasa. All the 12 are Kenyans and three (3) have a recent history of travel from Somali. They are aged between 14 and 60 years.

The Nairobi cases are spread in between Kibera 2, Karen 1, Dandora 1, Eastleigh 1, Kasarani 1, South B 1, and Umoja 1. Mombasa four cases are from Mvita Kuze 1, Mishomoroni 1, Mvita-Bondeni 1, and BarSheba 1.
In the meantime, the National Emergency Response Committee on Coronavirus (NERC) has directed that;
Testing of track drivers to start immediately at all border crossing points.
The county government to increase training of their health workers by utilizing the already trained personnel as trainers.
The ministry of health in collaboration with the county governments to identify Covid-19 isolation facilities at the county level 4 to 6 hospitals.
