The 56-year-old was a constant and prominent presence during Harambee Stars, Harambee Starlets matches, and in domestic league matches featuring AFC Leopards and Kakamega Homeboyz.
He was a passionate supporter of Kenyan sport who stood out at stadiums for his tireless dancing, flag-waving, and the themed colour combinations painted on his body.
He had two wives (Christina and Faridah) and 10 children with both his homes put up in Mumias, some 250km away from his Nakuru base where he worked as a newspaper vendor.
A one-man cheer squad, Juma who was popular for his high energy dance moves has been an Ingwe supporter since 1980 but changed his loyalty to Kakamega Homeboyz in 2017 after having increasingly felt sidelined despite his status as a ‘senior fan’ at the den.
