Kiraitu 70 Million Contribution For Construction Of (KMTC) Campuses
Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi says the establishment of four Kenya Medical Training Centre (KMTC) campuses in Maua, Kangeta, Miathene and Kanyakine is a major boost to our County. The campuses will be constructed concurrently and once complete; they will admit 1000 students per campus.
The governor says his Government has contributed Ksh 70 million towards the construction of the campuses. While making Meru great the legislator says the construction of the campuses is put in place because his Government has a great plan for the health sector.
Mr. Kiraitu has lauded the KMTC delegation led by Chairman Prof Philip Kaloki who is in Meru County to inspect the ongoing construction works at the campuses. He was accompanied by KEMSA CEO Mr Edward Njoroge Njuguna and Chairman Senator Kembi Gitura who expected to tour the site for the regional KEMSA Centre which will be constructed in Meru County.
Governor Kiraitu Murungi has promised to invest massively in the health sector with a focus on preventive healthcare to ensure improved healthcare provision in Meru County.
