Did you know that God’s time is the best? This is what Mathew wrote on his Facebook page.

Copied;

“This is my story. The story of my academic Journey which started in late 80s. The journey full of hurdles and misfortunes. After long struggle. Spending 22 good years in Primary schools. Sitting KCPE exams nine times and failing none, joining Kanga and Maseno school in early 2000s an dropping out to primary school due to lack of school fees. I am a true manifestation of “God’s time is the best” .

Who could believe that I – Aol Mathew Nyamlori would graduate? I mean who.. Sometimes I used to think that my God was a lesser God until Equity Bank Came to my rescue in 2011

After securing Equity Bank wings to fly scholarship and joining the prestigious Nairobi school (Patch). I must say that I am not all the special but I can say God loved me and gave me the heart to persevere and not to despair.

I can remember vividly the instances of overcoming humiliation and hard life, being in primary school while already grown-man is not easy my people! I looked like their parents… Older than even some of the teachers! The memories are still fresh.

This is the special day for me to tell the world that nothing is impossible with God. You can achieve anything no matter the age, no matter the background.

Being raised in humble background surviving with casual jobs (mjengo) for the longest time. From mjengo (koroga) to undergraduate. I can say your background should not deter you from achieving your goals. Suffering is temporary, poverty is temporary, living in hard life is temporary.

Humiliation is temporary but attaining education which is the key to success is permanent. I dedicate this my undergraduate to struggling students who do not know what to take in the next meal. Nothing is impossible. Initiate a process you will be there.. I am very grateful to to God and to all those who have been there to support me achieve this. I am the happiest person today. I also thank my parents for their advice and persevering with me all through. They have today witness me graduating. Despite them being old they are happy I csn feel their happiness thank you mom and dad for taking part in this. I love you so much.
