Life Is Not Predictable… My Testimony…

You realize that the maintenance of your relationship with God takes active, purposeful thought, self-discipline, and intentionality in order to succeed.

Without that continuous and deepening bond, you will never fulfill the destiny God has planned for you, and you will never reach your full potential for all that He has you on earth to be and do.

Almost every relationship in your life takes focus and initiative if it is to succeed, and your walk with God is no different.

It’s important that you are convinced from the Scriptures that two or three set times per day is what you need to thrive spiritually. You will also find that as you put this pattern into practice, you will not only be convinced by the Scriptures, but by your experience.

I mean, even if a person is not convinced by health experts that weight lifting and cardio exercise will change their body for the better, putting a regular exercise routine into practice will demonstrate that it does indeed benefit them enormously.

Make it a routine to thank God for what you prayed for and you have, in good times as much as you remember him during difficult times.

Life can be going on well for a season. Your job is satisfying, friends and family are enjoyable, your finances, health, goals, and outlook seem bright.

Then all of a sudden everything goes asunder and life throws a curveball. You lose your job, someone you know gets sick, a friend or family member betrays you, and all the things you felt secure in all of a sudden feel shaky and rocky.

Trusting God is not about ignoring your feelings or reality. It is not pretending everything is okay when it is not. Trusting God is living a life of belief in and obedience to God when it’s difficult.

Life is not predictable as there up and downs along the way. When times are good it feels easier to trust in God. But when times are difficult it is even more important to trust in God. God’s unchanging character can give us a firm foundation when things feel unsteady and uncertain.

Make it a routine to thank God for what you prayed for and you have, in good times as much as you remember him during difficult times.
